Our Pizza Story

For over 40 years, George’s Pizza has been established as your local family pizza restaurant located in the center of Fredericksburg, VA. We are recognized in the community for our premium homemade pizza, served with only the highest quality fresh ingredients, fresh crust prepared daily, special sauce, more cheese than anyone else, and plentiful toppings.

In 1974, George’s Pizza was opened by George and Georgina Kapatadikis, bringing a traditional Greek style into town. For 26 years, they maintained a family-oriented atmosphere with loyal customers and dedicated employees. Once the Kapatadikis’ retired, the lead waitress, who worked with them for over 15 years, took ownership with her sister.

For the last 23 years, our commitment to George’s Pizza to uphold the traditional values established has been successful. We take great pride in serving quality handmade pizza, special sauces, meatballs, and famous French fries for all to enjoy, from our family to yours.
